Technical Administrator

We are recruiting a Technical Administrator to join our team based in West Yorkshire.
What will you be doing in this role?
As a Technical Administrator at Tunstall, you’ll provide technical admin support to the Tunstall Technology Group Hardware and Firmware team to maintain existing products and release new products to market.
The Ideal candidate:
You will have some technical experience but, more importantly, an appreciation of technology (we can be flexible in terms of which areas!).
Key skills and experience:
Required skills and experience
- Computer literate with good keyboard skills and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft office packages – in particular Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
Required competencies
- Numerate, with a good eye for detail.
- Able to prioritise and work to deadlines.
- Good communication skills.
- Be a confident self-motivated individual who can work under own initiative.
Desirable skills and experience
- Accurate presentation skills and reconciliation of figures.
- Experience of working/liaising with product development.
- Understanding of new product development processes.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Provide support on Tunstall Technology Group projects as required, encompassing (but not limited to) the following activities:
- Raise/progress new part requests in IFS.
- Raise/progress additional manufacturer requests (AAPs).
- Raise/progress purchase orders.
- Raise/progress EWR’s (engineering work requests) through to sign-off in QPulse.
- Support SER (sample evaluation request) generation.
- Raise Development and New Product Introduction build requests.
- Raise/progress process improvement initiatives to improve the efficiency of support functions through use of tools and/or process automation wherever possible.
